It does not matter how slow you go so long as you do not stop.

Daydreams (Poem)

Daydreams

Sitting in class,
Looking out the glass
While the teacher is yakking
But I want to do something!

Then out of thin air,
In my teacher's hair,
Was a little horn!
My classmates turn to corn
As witches make a spell,
Pixies or fairies-I can't really tell,
Made my backpack fly!

Suddenly I'm floating
And I start thinking
"Isn't that the moon?
It looks like a balloon!"
Then I'm in a creator
And I see something with fur!
He had six legs and one eye,
I can't help thinking that he's a funny guy.

I get transported to a village,
I'm behind a hedge,
As I see soldiers with spears
When the coast is clear,
I get up and hear,
People shouting my name!
I spun around,
And guess what I found,
People all worshiping me!

I look up and find,
Maybe I'm out of my mind,
But a ship heading my way!
"Isn't that Blackbeard?"
I think as I peered
At a big bulky  pirate.
He motioned to be quiet,
As he crept up a hill,
I saw something that made my heart go still!
X marks the spot!
I quickly trot and dig.
But just as I hit something big,
I hear a cry
"Young lady, pay attention", my teacher sighs.

I'm back in school,
And I stare like a fool.
"Isn't that dragon underfed?"
I pondered in my head.
